The Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources at Avila
The Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources provides students with the knowledge and abilities to manage people and talent in any organization.
The curriculum covers foundational business topics like accounting, finance, management, and marketing while emphasizing advanced human resources skills. Core HR classes include staffing, employment law, compensation, training, organizational behavior, and strategic HR planning.
Students also take courses in communication psychology, statistics, and business law to round out their business acumen. The program teaches students how to recruit, develop, engage, and retain employees while ensuring legal and ethical compliance. Some specific topics covered include global HR management, HR information systems, labor relations, and risk management.

This degree program is part of Avila’s hybrid program. It can be taken as part of the low residency program; or, combine your core curriculum on-campus with online courses for a true hybrid experience! Choose the best fit for you!
