The Avila University School of Nursing BSN program is hosting an evaluation site visit by the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN) on November 9th and 16th, 2022.  The public is invited to provide written comments about the program.

Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Avila University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

The program has full approval by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The most recent site visit was conducted in 2018.

Over the last five years 82% of students enrolled in the nursing major have graduated within three years of admission.  Of those students, 98% of graduates have become Registered Nurses!  And, nearly all graduates are employed within 6 months of graduation.
