Writing Fellow Performance Grant
To apply, please complete the following steps:
- Write a one-page, single-spaced letter to the English department explaining why you are interested in this fellowship. If you have previous experience as a writing tutor or have worked on the editorial team of a creative writing journal, please mention that in your letter. (Experience, while helpful, is not required for a fellowship.)
- Select a few pieces of your own writing which you believe best represent your work. Feel free to include more than one genre; e.g., essay, poem, short story, senior thesis, etc. Please note in your application letter what writing samples you are including.
- Send the above items as electronic attachments in an email addressed to email@example.com.
