Avila offers master’s in management degrees with three areas of emphasis based on the demands of today’s business world. All three can be earned through a flexible class schedule built around eight-week, on-campus, online and weekend-intensive courses.
Management - Project Management
An emphasis in project management will transform you into a team player with diverse career opportunities across a wide range of industries. Working with professors will sharpen your critical thinking and communication skills, with a focus on understanding the motivations of employees and strengthening the workplace.
Our project management program requires 37 graduate credit hours. If you are a Certified Project Manager through PMI, Avila will grant you 10 hours of graduate credit toward your degree.

Management - Fundraising
Avila’s program emphasis in fundraising lets you learn the science behind successful fundraising in our innovative, research- and knowledge-based program. Our unique curriculum is part of a partnership with Hartsook Companies Inc., experts in fundraising consulting, along with world-renowned expert Adrian Sargeant, a visiting professor at Avila.
The Avila University fundraising master’s program requires 37 graduate credit hours and can be fully completed online, with classes starting every eight weeks.
Management - Instructional Design and Technology for Organizations
Businesses are quickly realizing the need to continually educate their employees to maintain relevance in a shifting global environment. Our industrial design and technology program allows students to earn a full master’s degree or certificate. You’ll master adult learning theory and learn to design coursework that integrates technology and social media. Coursework focuses on teaching you strategic innovation skills through different methods and technologies.
Graduate certificates require 13 credit hours, which roll easily into the Master of Arts in Management degree. Project management and fundraising certificates are both offered 100% online.
