Admission Criteria

  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8
  • Earn a “C” or above in all prerequisite courses (courses may be repeated only once)
  • Complete all prerequisite courses prior to beginning nursing courses
  • Complete the Avila University and School of Nursing admission processes
  • Eligibility for licensure in the state where licensure is anticipated (refer to the Nurse Practice Act)
