Dr. Eli Moran is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Organizational Excellence Director for two prominent nonprofit organizations in Southwest Missouri, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role as an Adjunct Instructor at Avila University. Dr. Moran’s diverse academic background includes a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, a Master’s in Management with an emphasis on Human Resources from Missouri Southern State University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Penn State University, and a Bachelor’s in General Studies with a minor in Biology from Missouri Southern State University. This multifaceted education has equipped him with a unique perspective on leadership and organizational management. In his professional capacity, Dr. Moran excels in analyzing operations, evaluating organizational performance, maximizing teams, and implementing strategic improvements. His skills in grant administration have generated substantial revenue for his organizations. As a member of executive leadership teams, he adeptly represents organizational objectives to various stakeholders. At Avila University, Dr. Moran teaches courses in Leadership, drawing from his extensive practical experience and academic knowledge. His teaching philosophy emphasizes the integration of theory with real-world applications, fostering critical thinking and practical skills development in his students. This approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared for the challenges of modern leadership roles. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Moran enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, and traveling.
