Ibraheem Badejo, Ph.D. is the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Avila University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1984. He joined the university’s Board of Trustees in 2013. Dr. Badejo is a highly accomplished MedTech executive and globally recognized innovator, currently serving as the Senior Director External Innovation at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Boston. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Toledo, Master of Legal Studies from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. He’s also an adjunct professor of biomedical engineering at Drexel University and holds over 27 U.S. patents. Deeply committed to global health equity, he routinely leads international medical mission trips and advises various life science and non-profit organizations. Dr. Badejo resides in Boston.
