Avila University is excited to announce a new international partnership with the Catholic University of Ávila (UCAV) in Ávila, Spain—creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and academic collaboration across continents.
During a recent institutional visit to UCAV, Interim President Dr. Andy Jett and Lourdes Miguel, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at UCAV, formally signed a framework agreement outlining the launch of future joint initiatives that will connect both university communities in powerful new ways.
Rooted in shared mission, values, and a common heritage with the Sisters of St. Joseph, this partnership represents a natural step forward for Avila as we continue expanding global learning pathways and strengthening our commitment to “Education Without Limits.”
Through this new agreement, Avila and UCAV will explore and develop:
- Joint master’s programs
- Student and faculty exchange opportunities
- Spanish Language and Culture programming for Avila students
- Collaborative research initiatives
For Avila students, this partnership opens doors to immersive international learning experiences, cultural exchange, language development, and academic enrichment—expanding the world that Avila students can learn from, serve within, and impact.
