You must obtain an overall score of 70% or higher, with no individual exam score below 50%, and successfully complete ALL writing assignments to pass this course.

Once your course materials are received, you are required to read the Course Syllabus, Course Syllabus Addendum and Essay Grading Guidelines to be certain that you understand all of the course requirements and expectations.

From the day your course link is emailed to you, you will have a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of six months to complete your course. After completion, please allow VESi approximately two weeks to process your materials and report your grade to Avila University.

The university will then process and post your grade, after which you may request your transcript by following the instructions provided here: Request Avila University Transcript. For questions or assistance with transcripts, you may contact Avila at graded@avila.edu or call 816-501-2464.

  • 9 credit maximum in summer 2025 term (April 26th, 2025 – *August 22nd, 2025)
  • 6 credit maximum in fall 2025 term (August 23rd, 2025 – *December 12th 2025)
  • 6 credit maximum in spring 2026 term (December 13th, 2025 – *May 8th, 2026)
  • 9 credit maximum in summer 2026 term (May 9th, 2026 – *August 21st, 2026)

The term in which course grades will appear on the Avila University transcript will be based on the date upon which the course is completed, not the date on which you register. Please remember that there is a two-week minimum for course completion, so if you happen to complete and submit your course before the two-week minimum has elapsed, the course completion date will be the date on which your two-week minimum has been met.

  • Courses completed April 26th, 2025 – August 22nd, 2025 appear under summer 2025 term
  • Courses completed August 23rd, 2025 – December 12th 2025 appear under fall 2025 term
  • Courses completed December 13th, 2025 – May 8th, 2026 appear under spring 2026 term
  • Courses completed May 9th, 2026 – August 21st, 2026 appear under summer 2026 term
