Dr. Tanner received her PhD from the University of Kansas in 2023, and joined the faculty of Avila’s English Department in the Fall of 2023. Her research interests include Media Studies and Philosophy, Book History, and Early Modern Drama, particularly Shakespeare Studies. She enjoys teaching a wide range of rhetoric, writing, and literature courses, and lives in Lenexa, KS with her husband and four children.
