Avila University is happy to announce the 48th annual Steer Dinner and Auction, to be held, in person, on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Overland Park Convention Center. Steer is the signature fundraising event at Avila University, raising vital scholarship funds for our students. The funds raised through Steer directly help Avila students achieve their dreams of earning a college degree.

6 p.m. – Social Hour & Silent Auction
7:30 p.m. – Dinner
8 p.m. – Program & Live Auction
9 p.m. – Silent Auction Closes
9:30 p.m. – After Party with Live Band and Dancing

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

Avila has worked with Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center to accommodate our guests who wish to book a room the night of the Steer Dinner and Auction.

Please Note: The cut-off date for guest rooms is scheduled for Friday, February 9th, 2024. Please note, our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival. Any reservation cancelled less than 48 prior to arrival is subject to 1 night’s room & tax charge.

TICKET INFORMATION

As an Avila employee you receive one ticket at half price – $125. Your ticket includes the cocktail reception, plated gourmet meal, and access to super silent and live auction items. There is also an after party with live music and dancing. Additional guest tickets may be purchased at the regular price of $250/person to cover our costs and ensure the majority of our funds support student scholarships.

A table can also be purchased for $1,000, which seats 8 guests.

Buy your tickets online today or you can purchase through payroll deduction by stopping by the Advancement and Alumni Office in Blasco Hall or filling out this online form.
