My hometown is Lees’ Summit, Missouri. I received my B.S., M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Educational Psychology & School Psychology from the University of MO-Columbia. I received my Ed.S. from the University of Central MO in Education and Special Education Administration. I married my high school sweetheart and had three children and ended up with eight grandchildren. I retired from Park Hill School District (Missouri), jumped state lines to Blue Valley School District, and retired from there in July 2021. I enjoy kayaking, backpacking, gardening, and playing with my grandkids, and, taking walks and having morning coffee with my wife.
