I have been a nurse for 9 years, the majority of that time was spent in ER and PACU – I enjoy the high-paced environments! While tutoring when I was in nursing school I found my love for education and completed my MSN-Education track in Dec 2018 from UCMO. I taught clinical prior to coming to Avila to pursue teaching full-time. This is my second year at Avila – I love meeting new students and helping them understand how to take care of people. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and son. I love reading, traveling, and hanging out with my cats.
