Auditions are open to all Avila students. You do NOT need to be a music major/minor to audition.
- Please prepare two contrasting monologues — one contemporary and one classical. The classical should be in rhyming verse.
- One of the two monologues should be comedic and one dramatic.
- Your two pieces should not exceed three minutes combined.
If you don’t have either of these requirements, DON’T PANIC! Email professor Matt Schwader Harbor and we’ll figure something out.
Auditions are not held in front of everyone — only the play directors and stage managers will be present.
