Avila University Day of Giving

day of giving

Avila University’s first annual Day of Giving is here! On this day, you can make an impact on Avila students by making a gift to the University. As we begin our second century of providing a values-based education to nearly 2,000 students in south Kansas City, you are encouraged to make a gift to to an area of Avila that inspires you.

Thanks to the generosity of the Jack F. and Glenna Y. Wylie Foundation, all new gifts to student scholarships will be matched dollar for dollar.

To participate in Avila’s Day of Giving campaign:

  1. Make your annual gift on Tuesday, November 28. If you have already made a gift this fiscal year, thank you! By making an additional gift of any size on November 28, you can help us continue providing what you love most about Avila. Or, if you have an outstanding pledge, you may fulfill it so it's also part of the Day of Giving totals. You may make your gift or fulfill your pledge here, or call 816.501.3780.
  2. Spread the word! Talk about Day of Giving on your own social media outlets and use the hashtag #AvilaDayofGiving. Email your networks and ask them to join you in supporting Avila on our Day of Giving.
  3. Share why you give to Avila. Download a sign below, take a picture with it and post on social media with why you support Avila. Be sure to tag Avila in your posts!
