Dr. Eli Moran, known professionally as Eli Moran, has built his career in nonprofit executive leadership. He currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer of a large nonprofit serving a seven-county region across Southwest Missouri, where he leads strategic planning, board development, organizational culture, government relations, and fund development in support of the organization’s ongoing transformation.
Eli is deeply invested in serving the community he calls home, currently through an elected seat on the Joplin City Council. A self-described “pracademic,” Eli bridges theory and practice as an adjunct instructor, teaching graduate-level courses in leadership, strategy, and nonprofit management at multiple institutions. He values what he learns from his students as much as what he teaches them and finds that staying connected to the classroom keeps him current in the field.
