B.S.B.A. – Accounting

The BA in Business Administration – Accounting provides students with a strong foundation in business and specialized expertise in accounting. Core business courses in finance, marketing, and management establish essential skills like data-driven decision making, understanding consumer behavior, and leading teams. Rigorous accounting coursework then develops specialized knowledge needed for careers in accounting, auditing, and financial management. Students take fundamental courses in financial accounting and analysis, then advance to in-depth study of accounting theory, cost accounting, accounting systems, auditing, and taxation. A capstone business plan course allows students to synthesize learning by developing a comprehensive plan for a new venture. General education in economics, statistics, and composition complements the business and accounting curriculum. With thorough accounting knowledge paired with cross-disciplinary business skills, the BA in Business Administration – Accounting prepares graduates to excel in accountant roles, pursue accounting certifications, or advance to graduate study. The program equips students with technical expertise and adaptability for in-demand accounting and finance careers.
