Paul Marquardt, Ph.D.

Adjunct Professor

Over the past 26 years, I have held key internal HR positions as well as external consulting roles in both very large (Accenture, Tata) and very small (AlignOrg Solutions, Marquardt Consulting, Inc.) consultancies. I have had the opportunity to work with over 40 companies (mostly multinational), in at least 13 industries, across North America, Asia, South America, and Europe. Currently, I work as an independent consultant specializing in organization design and change management. As an active organizational development practitioner, I enjoy working closely with executive teams in the design, development, and implementation of initiatives that have a direct impact on strategic objectives. In addition to my corporate experience, I have been fortunate to teach a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses at Emporia State University, Washburn University, and Avila University. As a student, I have always appreciated learning from my peers and from professors who brought meaningful experiences to the classroom for a given topic. Now, as an adjunct professor, I value the opportunity to bring a practical perspective to the classes I teach and learn from the experiences students share.
