Avila University’s School of Education teacher education programs are approved at the national level by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and at the state level by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  Avila University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Below you will find resources related to our accreditation processes and standards, as well as information helpful for prospective teacher candidates.  All Avila School of Education courses are aligned to all sets of standards outlined below.
