KANSAS CITY, Mo - - Three Avila communications students recently were honored for their work at the Bronze Quill Gala, sponsored by the Kansas City International Association of Business Communicators.
Trisha Simmons was awarded a Bronze Quill and a $1,000 scholarship from KC/IABC for her BancAbility with LendAbility campaign for the Bank of Lee's Summit. Valerie Reed was honored with an Award of Merit for her Bank of Lee's Summit-You're Our Core customer appreciation plan. Erin Hopper's American Duct Cleaning public relations and event campaign was presented with a Certificate of Recognition in absentia.
The Bronze Quill Awards is the KC/IABC's annual award program celebrating talent, creativity and resourcefulness of communicators. Senior communicators from across the country judge each entry and provide valuable feedback.
