Erin Boston MSN, RN began her teaching career at Avila University in 2016 serving as the Nursing Education and Resource Center Coordinator. She transitioned to full-time faculty in 2018 after the completion of her Masters of Science in Nursing, specializing in Nursing Education from Southwest Baptist University. Her teaching focus is in the fundamental theory and clinical junior level courses and the gerontological and capstone senior level courses.
Erin was born and raised in the Kansas City area, and shares a home with her husband, two sons, and one daughter. Erin’s passion is in Hospice and end of life care, where she remains current as a bedside nurse within the Saint Luke’s Health System. She is proud to call Avila University School of Nursing her alma mater and honored to work alongside the very faculty that taught her.
