    The Thornhill Gallery is hosting an exhibit, "Yoshi and Friends: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Yoshiro Ikeda," in conjunction with the National Conference on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) which will be held in Kansas City March 16-19. Yoshiro Ikeda, who passed away in December, was a distinguished Professor of Ceramics at Kansas State University. Avila University is seeking comments from the public about the University in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The University will host a visit February 26-27, 2018 with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Avila University has been accredited by HLC since 1946. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.

The public is invited to submit comments regarding the University to the following address:
