Financing your Graduate Degree
Applying for financial aid is an annual process. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as the official application for all sources of federal aid for graduate/professional students.
Eligible graduate students qualify for Direct Unsubsidized Student Loans as well as Graduate PLUS loans (additional application) through the FAFSA. For more information on these as well as private loans please click here and view Student Loans. Students must be enrolled half time to qualify for an unsubsidized loan. Half time is 3 hours per term.

Notification of Financial Aid
For students who apply for Financial Aid (file the FAFSA) an email will be sent to your official Avila email account once you are awarded. You will be directed to your MyAU account to both view and accept/decline your loans.
