Almost Paradise

We are at the halfway point in the fall semester, and communication majors are starting the countdown to graduation. Part of the Avila experience in the School of Visual Arts and Communication experience is working with a real world client, and last week the practicum classes discovered that it is challenging, but it can also be fun.
Students are working on projects for a family owned restaurant in Independence, Vivilore. Eight students arrived early in the morning, long before the lunch crowd was scheduled, to shoot photos and brainstorm ideas. They also explored the restaurant, antiques, home décor, gift shop, art gallery, gardens, and took a ton of selfies. They came up with some great ideas, and are on the road to having some terrific concepts to add to their portfolios.
Just another part of the Avila experience; We Are Viscom!
