An in-depth look at fundraising theories and the profession. Topics include: the nonprofit sector, general philanthropic practices, fundraising ethics and best practices.
FR 610 Direct and Interactive Marketing for Fundraising
Identify and implement the current trends, issues and giving patterns in direct fundraising marketing and e-marketing while conducting research-driven interactive campaigns.
FR 620 Fundraising Planning
Proficiency with audit purposes and procedures, including strategy, are inherent in the delivery of effective fundraising efforts. Topics include donor retention and loyalty, principles of fundraising research and tactics.
FR 635 Major and Planned Giving
Understand the role of major and planned giving and how it fits into an organization’s overall fundraising efforts. Learn the various tools used and their impact and how to use specifics to design proposals that balance donor readiness and institutional needs.
FR 645 Institutional Fundraising
Learn the types, significance and best practices of corporate support. Understand the forms of foundation fundraising, including sources of grant income.
The first online Master of Arts in Management/Fundraising degree
The Avila University Master of Arts in Management/Fundraising is 37 credit hours and can be taken online, with classes starting every eight weeks.
