MAEd in Teaching & Learning

Overview


This concentration focuses on instruction and learning about classroom practices, the development of classroom materials, and ways in which teaching occurs in classrooms. Students interested in this concentration will learn about theory, research, and practice as they relate to best curricular and instructional practices.

Program Highlights

Courses

In order to earn the Master of Arts in Education in Teaching & Learning, students must complete a total of 33 credit hours, including 5 core courses (15 credit hours) and a combination of elective courses (18 hours). 

Each of the core courses in this program are 8 weeks in length.  Elective courses may be 8 weeks in length (3 credit hours courses) or 2 weeks in length (1 credit hour courses).

Admissions

Applicants for the Master of Arts in Education in Teaching & Learning degree program must hold a baccalaureate degree with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 from a regionally accredited institution.

Tuition

Students in the Master of Arts in Education in Teaching & Learning degree program can pay for each course as they enroll or explore additional payment options with our Student Financial Services office.

There is no application fee, and textbooks and all other fees are included in the total cost of tuition. Costs are the same for students in Missouri or from outside the state.
