Students will complete the program as part of a cohort and take classes in a planned sequence per semester (fall, spring and summer). Enrolling in the courses as a cohort and during the designated semesters is required of students admitted to the program.

Follow your passion for teaching English learners with the Master of Arts in Education in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) program. Our program will enhance your ability to teach English to speakers of other languages and engage you in world language instruction and acquisition. Grow your communication skills with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Diverse student population in the program with students from all over the United States and the world.
Evening courses meet once per week.
Occasional online course.
Eight-week courses. Focus on one course at a time.
Transfer in up to nine previous graduate hours
Flexible enrollment – attend part-time or full-time
