For the Master of Arts in Education in Secondary Education, students must complete a total of 54-60 credit hours (depending on certification area). 

Initial teacher certification requires 36-42 credit hours, with an additional 18 credit hours remaining to earn the full master's degree.

*Earn certification and start teaching in your own classroom within two years!
