PEACH members work collaboratively with the Health and Counseling Services staff to develop and present a variety of educational and social programs/activities for the Avila community. Members are committed to improving campus life through events such as the following past programs/activities:
Butt Out – Developed and carried out activities promoting awareness of the physical and psychological effects of smoking,
Stress Relief Week – Sponsored fun stress relieving events before finals.
Swing Into Spring – Handed out safe spring break information and giveaways
Wellness Day - Developed display and conducted water tasting test to raise awareness about the benefits of water
Slip Into Sleep - Sponsored activities to educate students about sleep
Late Night Breakfast – Sponsored making of personal stress balls
Breast Cancer Awareness and Raffle – Sponsored and staffed event to raise money for breast cancer research
Denim Day & MOCSA T -Shirt Display – Sponsored and staffed event raising awareness about sexual assault
Attend regular meetings and training
Learn about mental and physical health issues which can impact college students
Collaborate with other PEACH members in a creative, open, and enthusiastic manner to develop and implement programs/activities
Organize and complete tasks
Communicate with students in a mentor-like role during programs/activities
