SPORTS COMMUNICATION, BA

The sports communication concentration prepares students to pursue a career in sports media with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. It meets the expanding needs for sports marketing, promotion, advertising, broadcasting, and creation of video content for a wide variety of applications in social and other electronic media.

All students complete professional internships in sports media and work with sports industry clients throughout their time at Avila.  These practical experiences and professional contacts translate into a competitive advantage in the job market.

All sports communication students complete a portfolio showcasing their professional work prior to graduation.
