CAREERS IN SPORTS COMMUNICATION

A Sports Communication degree is an entrée into any 21st Century career which involves the fast growing sports media field or jobs in any sports industry that requires promotion, publicity or event planning. Job opportunities in this exciting field remain high. With the omnipresence of media, many sports industry businesses have openings for graduates who will find that their degree is a valuable key to entering a great variety of interesting and profitable careers.

Our alumni are currently working in fields as diverse as a television sports anchor at KTTC-TV in Minnesota, Director of Promotions for the TBones baseball team in Kansas City, Kansas, writing for ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine, producing "The Post Game" for Yahoo Sports, and production work for Time Warner Sports.
