Livin' the Dream

September 2012

Emilee Bickleman is living her dream.  Since earning a BA in Communication with an AD/PR concentration in 2012, Emilee has been working as a Media Manager at the Kansas City Royals.  This year the MBL All-Star game was held at Kauffman Stadium, and Bickleman was in the middle of the action; "Getting to work the behind-the-scenes for this eventful week was amazing.  I was able to meet so many interesting and successful people.  Plus I got to meet some of the most talented baseball players!"

Emilee said that highlight of her week was meeting and spending time with Jenny Finch, who helped lead Team USA to the gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and a silver medal at 2008.  Time magazine described her as the most famous softball player in history.  "I got the chance to meet Jennie Finch, who has been a role model to me during my softball career.  Meeting her was an unforgettable moment!"
