Aylward participates in International Women Artists Exhibition in Vietnam

September 2012

Marci Aylward, Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing, traveled in June to Vietnam for the Colours X - International Women Artists Exhibition, at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum.  Women from 20 countries participated, making this the biggest international women artists exhibition to date.

The theme of the exhibition and conference, "Women's Art - A New Direction in Global Culture", reflects the common vision and mission of the women artists and their aspiration for the development of a new global culture that focuses on the humanity aspects of life and their concern for the realization of a sustainable environment.
