"C'mon, get happy!" Group of VIS-COM students paint van as class project

Members of professor Ben Meade's Interdisciplinary Studies course, IS 332, recently participated in what they called an "art happening." As a project in the course, which focuses on Avant-Garde art in cinema studies, the students painted a van in more than seven artistic styles. It wasn't quite the bus from the Partridge Family, but it was close. The van was donated to the class by Len Cartee, Avila's director of physical plant, building services.
