Three Avila students honored with Bronze Quill Awards

Three Avila communications students recently were honored for their work at the Bronze Quill Gala, sponsored by the Kansas City International Association of Business Communicators.
Trisha Simmons was awarded a Bronze Quill and a $1,000 scholarship from KC/IABC for her BancAbility with LendAbility campaign for the Bank of Lee's Summit. Valerie Reed was honored with an Award of Merit for her Bank of Lee's Summit-You're Our Core customer appreciation plan. Erin Hopper's American Duct Cleaning public relations and event campaign was presented with a Certificate of Recognition in absentia.
The Bronze Quill Awards is the KC/IABC's annual award program celebrating talent, creativity and resourcefulness of communicators. Senior communicators from across the country judge each entry and provide valuable feedback.
