Great things happening with the Avila micro cinema film club. This Sunday, Feb 7th, will be a zombie film shoot on the Avila campus.Come be a part of the fun.
The Spring 2016 Art, Advertising & Hip Hop Culture class visited The Castle as part of their Graffiti 2.0 tour. The tour encompassed five Kansas City neighborhoods well known for extraordinary street art, graffiti and tagging.
The castle is located at 20th and Vine has been abandoned for years, but when it was built in 1897 it was designed as a prison where petty criminals could work off their crimes. The back of the building has several openings where bold explorers can get inside and do their work. The place although not an official tourism site is a favorite for locals and visitors.
