FACILITIES

DALLAVIS CENTER is a 6000 square foot facility housing the Art + Design and Communication departments. Students in the majors have access to the facilities in the evenings and on weekends.

Facilities include:
Macintosh classroom equipped with 22" iMacs (Intel Core, MacOS X 10.6 and Adobe Creative Suite 5.0), scanners, laser printers (b/w and color) and large format printer

Nonlinear editing suite with Macintosh G5 dual processor computers featuring Final Cut Pro HD editing software

Film and video production sound stage

Digital video and 16mm film cameras, professional quality microphones, portable lighting equipment, camera jib and dolly for student use

Digital audio production suite with Pro Tools software and sound booth
Student newspaper room for writing, editing and layout

Drawing, design, and painting studios

Ceramics studio with slab roller, wheels, and kilns

Photographic darkroom with film and digital cameras available for student use
