Dr. Ned Harris is the newest addition to the Avila University Executive Committee. He has been appointed to the role of vice president for enrollment and student development, He is a seasoned professional in higher education and brings a philosophy that supports the Avila values of student development and growth.
Dr. Harris believes that a student’s college career “should be a transformational period that provides the tools to be a successful contributor within one’s family, career and community.”
Dr. Harris has over 30 years of progressive experience in higher education, holding leadership positions in admission, financial aid, enrollment management and student services. He has also held positions in executive administration. Dr. Harris joined the Avila community on June 1 and lives in Liberty, MO. He and his wife Barbara have three grown sons.
