Reulan LevineAndrea Olitsky, Esq., MBA, JD joined the Avila full-time faculty this year having been an adjunct professor since 2004.  She serves as an assistant professor, pre-law advisor, and the mock trial director. 

Andrea began her diverse law career in the family law arena.  She progressed to in-house corporate counsel for a multi-specialized physician group, negotiating contracts between doctors and hospitals, doctors and insurance companies, and overseeing all functions of the organization.

In addition to her exemplary legal career, Andrea began offering continuing medical education courses to medical professionals as well as lecturing on important legal issues to medical students.

In her time at Avila, Andrea is making an impact.  She has developed a new course on legal issues and health care, and will offer another new course next spring titled, “The Robert’s Court” that will examine the current Supreme Court. In addition, Andrea has led the mock trial team to win a Best Witness Award and a near win of the Best Attorney Award.  She has also reinstated the Pre-Law society and is the academic advisor for the Avila Students for Social Justice organization. 

Andrea received her bachelor of arts and bachelor of science double major in business and computers, and a masters of business administration in management information systems from American University in Washington D.C., and a master of arts and juris doctorate from the New England School of Law.  Andrea is a member of the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Missouri Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors (MAPLA) and the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA).
