Registration for 2008 Traditional Terms

REGISTRATION DATES

  1. In-Person registration begins April 14, 2008 for Summer & Fall 2008. Check Academic Calendar for deadlines.
  2. Telephone registration begins April 21, 2008 for Summer & Fall 2008. Telephone registration continues until two weeks before the term begins.
  3. On-line Registration is open to currently enrolled students only and generally matches In-Person registration dates but may vary by program.  See your Advisor.
  4. Check the Academic Calendar for dates when Avila University offices are closed.
IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
  1. Registration for current and readmitted Traditional students will take place according to the classification of each student. See bottom of page for student classification definitions.

    Monday First day for Fourth Year, Post-baccalaureate and Paralegal Certificate Students
    Tuesday Third Year and students above
    Wednesday Second Year and students above
    Thursday First Year and students above

    All students above. Note: New students should contact the Admissions office for registration dates.

  2. In-person Registration: Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm., Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
    In-person Registration Hours are extended to 6:15 pm on the first two class days of Spring and Fall term.
TELEPHONE REGISTRATION
  1. Call-in hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  2. Your advising form must be in the Registration Office in Blasco Hall prior to calling.
  3. Have your social security number and the department, course number and section of the class(es) in which you wish to register in front of you before you call.
  4. Call the Registration Office at (816) 501-2410.
STUDENT CLASSIFICATIONS
  1. Undergraduate Students are classified by the number of credit hours completed prior to the first day of registration.
    Fourth Year (96 or more hours completed) Third Year (64-95 hours completed)
    Second Year (32-63 hours completed) First Year (0-31 hours completed)

  2. Graduate Students are students officially accepted into one of Avila’s graduate programs. Graduate Students should check with their program office for enrollment dates and information.

  3. Check your student classification via your Campus Web account.
    Click on the Personal/Academic Info link on the left side of the screen.
