Avila to Host Internationally Acclaimed Filmmaker George Romero |

Internationally acclaimed filmmaker George Romero, guest of the Kansas International Film Festival, will present a symposium at Avila University, September 15, 2006. The event will be held at Goppert Theatre from 2-3:30 pm. Also presenting at the symposium will be Tom Savini, special effects master. The symposium will be open and free to anyone with a valid student or faculty ID, or a valid Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City or Filmmakers Alliance of the Midwest Empire membership card. Admission is $5 for all others. The symposium event is in conjunction with the Kansas International Film Festival.
