KANSAS CITY, Mo - - Avila University will have a little bit of representation when it comes to having the ear of Kansas City's new mayor.
Tamela Handie-Mosley, who received her bachelor of science in business administration in 1993 and MBA in '99, was named special adviser for operations by newly-elected mayor of Kansas City, Sly James.
Handie-Mosley has worked in city government for more than 10 years, both as an auditor and as a public finance analyst.
