  Avila University Hosts Town Hall Meeting with Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser

Avila University will host a Town Hall meeting with Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, in Whitfield Center on the university’s campus. Local residents and community members are invited to participate in this discussion of issues facing the city’s government.

This will be Mayor Funkhouser’s 63rd town hall meeting since being elected in March 2007. He is interested in meeting and hearing from Kansas City residents about the issues they consider the most important.
