Residence Halls
There are two halls that provide 126 furnished-double rooms. Each floor has a kitchen, laundry facilities, lounge, and study rooms. Each room has free internet access, cable, and local telephone service. In the fall of 2007, the construction will be completed on the new Jeanne Collins Thompson Residence hall, a 64-bed, suite-style facility.
Theatre
The 2006 - 2007 season includes "Inspecting Carol", "The Glass Menagerie", "Dead Man Walking", and "Gypsy"
Newspaper
The "Talon" has received numerous journalism awards and is published every three weeks during the school year
Mock Trial Team
This is the third year of Avila’s mock trial team and they placed 6th at the national tournament in St. Petersburg, Florida
Dance Team
Since its inception in 2001, the Avila dance team has consistently placed in the top five at nationals
Opportunities
Avila students build houses in Mexico, filmed a movie in Honduras, interviewed professional athletes, and travelled to Hawaii and to the island of Grenada where they researched lizards
