High school students
and transfer students seeking to complete prerequisite and core
courses:
- Visit the admissions
home page for complete details on applying to Avila.
- After admission, meet with your advisor to develop a curriculum
plan to prepare you for nursing courses.
- Apply to the nursing program (except Direct-Entry students)
by January 15th of the year you will be ready to begin nursing
courses.
Transfer students
seeking admission to the School of Nursing:
- Visit the admissions
home page for complete details on applying to Avila.
- Apply to the nursing program by January 15th of the year you
will be ready to begin nursing courses.
Applying to the
School of Nursing:
- Complete and submit the nursing application by January 15th
of the year you will be ready to begin nursing courses.
(The nursing program application will be available December 1.)
- Applications received after January 15th will be considered
on a space available basis.
- To be considered for the nursing program, official transcripts
for any completed course work taken outside
of Avila must be received by February 1st.
- Eligible applicants will be interviewed in early February.
- Applicants accepted for admission to the nursing program will
be notified by the School of Nursing in March.
