ALL STUDENTS
seeking admission to the School of Nursing must apply and be accepted to Avila University.  Click here to apply to Avila University.

High school students and transfer students seeking to complete prerequisite and core courses:

  • Visit the admissions home page for complete details on applying to Avila.
  • After admission, meet with your advisor to develop a curriculum plan to prepare you for nursing courses.
  • Apply to the nursing program (except Direct-Entry students) by January 15th of the year you will be ready to begin nursing courses.

Transfer students seeking admission to the School of Nursing:

  • Visit the admissions home page for complete details on applying to Avila.
  • Apply to the nursing program by January 15th of the year you will be ready to begin nursing courses.

Applying to the School of Nursing:

  • Complete and submit the nursing application by January 15th of the year you will be ready to begin nursing courses.  (The nursing program application will be available December 1.)
  • Applications received after January 15th will be considered on a space available basis.
  • To be considered for the nursing program, official transcripts for any completed course work taken outside of Avila must be received by February 1st.
  • Eligible applicants will be interviewed in early February.
  • Applicants accepted for admission to the nursing program will be notified by the School of Nursing in March.
