Accreditation |
| Avila University was the first liberal arts school in the metropolitan area and one of the first in the state of Missouri to establish a baccalaureate nursing program. The program received its first accreditation from the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN) in 1948 and the National League for Nursing (NLN) in 1966. The program has had continuous accreditation since that time. In 2000, the program applied for and was awarded accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for the maximum time period of 10 years. The program is granted approval by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. |
