Accreditation

Avila University’s School of Nursing received the maximum 10-year re-accreditation term from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education in 2010.

The program has conditional approval by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. A five year site visit was conducted in 2013.

Over the last five years (2010-2015), 92% of students enrolled in the nursing major have graduated within three years of admission.  Of those students, 96% of graduates have become Registered Nurses!  And, nearly all graduates are employed within 6 months of graduation.
