B.A. IN MUSIC
Vocal - The vocal major is designed to prepare students to enter a variety of fields upon graduation, from studio teaching and conducting to graduate school and performance. By focusing on the undergraduate experience and maintaining a close relationship with the theater department, voice majors have the ability to participate in a wide range of performance opportunities here at Avila.
Piano - The piano major is designed to offer many different performance and learning opportunities beyond the studio lessons, reflecting the different types of career paths available to our graduates. By engaging in these experiences, the Avila piano graduate is able to build on the core of music instruction to become a well-rounded musician that employers and graduate schools respect.
Education - Music majors are also offered a program in Unified Music-Vocal/Choral K-12 certification, approved by the state of Missouri. Kansas certification may be completed concurrently with the Music Education concentration.B.F.A. IN THEATRE
