Avila University has made a difficult decision to close the Montessori School and the Child Care Center at the end
of this academic year, May 9, 2008.
We have considered this decision over the past several years and multiple factors currently suggest that this is the right time to make the decision.
Avila has proudly served the Kansas City community with quality Montessori education since 1968. Hundreds of students began their education as preschoolers on the Avila campus. The excellent reputation of the program is directly related to the qualified, professional staff that has served us so well.
