Avila University is excited to announce that it has met the challenge requirements, and received a $900,000 grant from The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation. The grant is part of a $4.55 million project that includes the following initiatives:
- Provided crucial scholarship funds to students
- Launched a new Masters in Management degree through the Hartsook Institute for Fundraising
- Expand the Mabee Fieldhouse by 8,000 sq. ft.
- Renovate the Science Labs in O'Rielly
- Completely Redesign the Whitfield Center Lobby into a Student Commons area
- Improve the front door to Avila with the Jeanne Hamilton Olofson Plaza, and
- new monument signage at the north and south Wornall entrances to campus (to be installed in Spring 2011)
